I have yet to see this movies because the local shops here are seriously the last people on earth to get things but I cannot stop watching this teaser. Im so stoked for the season to start and also in aw in the way snowboarding has progressed in the way it has. I still remember being a little grom yelling at my dad to put me on a board cause two planks were for fruit cakes (no fence if you ski) but seriously, you cant even touch the stuff in this video...bent metal just came out with baseless bindings from the rubber bands and preseton LS was the steeze. Swoop this video if you love nature and snowboarding, thats it, thats all...

Case Of The Mondays

Oh yea! I totally have a Office Space job...

So pretty much spend my days in a cubicle now, I don't have a computer yet and I must say its pretty sad. I've had better days lets just say. Its an adjustment for sure but totally looking forward to not being in the rain this winter for work.

Life Is Good Part II

What a day...It's seriously been about like 6 months since Roz and I have had a FULL weekend off together. After having a amazing day Friday our Saturday consisted of the following.

Slept in
Had breakfast with my mom
Went to the theater for a feature film
Took a nap
Watched another feature film at my house (falling in and out of consciousness)
Had dinner and wine at our new favorite place "skylarks"
Got a massage/ eucalyptus steam
Best sleep ever!

Life Is Good

Today has been amazing so far... I woke up late, was late to my class but it didn't matter. Everyone was having a day for themselves and not for a company or money. Had lunch at the harthfire grill which was com pt by my future employer. It was a nice little place right on the water. Then I went and got my haircut by my stylist which I must say I'm pretty happy about. Quaint little place in Fairhaven, WA in this underground boutique. I just got back from having a quick drink with my wife and brother and now we are gonna BBQ and go to a movie. Also my wife normally works the weekend at least one day err so but this weekend she has it off! Now we were headed to Portland, Or on the train; but since my brothers wife, Ashley hasn't had her baby boy yet we decided on staying local. Tomorrow Roz and I will be getting Swedish massage's and taking it E-Z. With the music loud in my truck and the cold, crisp breeze blowing in my face on the ride home it made me smile and laugh of how life is and could be just depending on your perception. It made me miss my friends, they know who they are... I miss you all dearly but we will be seeing you sooner than later. With the winter months coming greatness is something for the future.

T.G.I.F.

YES! The weekend is here for me! Since I only work 4 days a week, Thursdays are my Fridays. Yes I do have to get up tomorrow at seven in the am and sit in a 3 wall glass room at the harbor with wireless keyboard/ mouse/ mac books with a projection screen and take a class on this program that I cannot talk about it because its kinda a big deal. Fi real its got something to do with this new job I started today that is just a "small piece of the puzzle in the big scheme of things." I'm so stoked, yes I will have a office job and straight up be like the office space movie but if it pays more and still got time to ride this winter I'm all for it. Oh I was in Vancouver, BC a week ago for a weekend date with a beautiful friend of mine, aka my wife, aka the Roz, aka half of Rozucas™ and here are some pics. Hope you enjoi.

Beer & Gremlins

After work today me and my brother were wifeless, so we decided to head down to this new brewery on the water. It was so good. If you swoop the pic you will see. It was just a good atmosphere with great beer, food, and friends. From there we walked down and grabbed a tea cause its freakin cold right now; think it said 40 degrees on this crisp cold night. Just got back from the local video store to rent and return some video tapes. On tonight's play list I got Gremlins 2.

Winter is totally coming, when I wake up its black and cold as ice! I love it, my body still isn't used to the cold weather so I feel my self getting sick. Stacking the airborne and Vitamin C.

Field Notes / Laminated Lists

Its all about lists, I've got so many different lists going on right now that it made me think of the movie "Darjeeling Limited" by Wes Anderson. Amazing movie and a even Amazin'ier Director. Just made that word up but I'm gonna roll with it. I've got lists of things I want to do, for things I need to do, and things that I should do. From this movie it inspired me to laminate my lists that have items on them that keep recurring each day. It would be; "I'm not writing it down to remember later, I'm writing it down to remember it now," field notes, kinda thing. Anyways didn't really find a good pic of the movie when he (don't know the character's name played by Owen Wilson) had the little lists made each morning and then laminated. I did however find this picture that reminded me of my buddies down south. The worst thing about riding a bike is having another man on the back, let alone three; but i guess if you looked as steezy as these three it wouldn't matter as much. Best part about it, is the bare feet...

Yndi Halda

This weekend has been a great time to just relax and discover new music and movies. This band I came across is called "Yndi Halda" and they are amazing. I guess you could do the sounds like: mogwai and explosions in the sky but they definitely hold there own, as the previously mentioned haven't made it on my play list all weekend.

For movies last night Roz and I watched Speed Racer.

I really enjoyed this movie. It was funny, exciting, and definitly something I didn't expect at all.

Idiot Pilot

Tonight we went and saw my favorite local band that went to the rival high school I went to growing up. They are so down to earth and just amazing people and musicians. This was my 4th time seeing them and they always seem to amaze me. Idiot Pilot is defenatly someone i would check out with there new album out "wolves". After we were at the show we stopped off to play some pool at the Royal. First time being there and I was impressed; it was in a sense filling a void of the Shanty that I miss from my 2nd home in Cardiff, Ca. Were the Royal will never be the Shanty it does bring me to a place where they have good pool tables, a jootbox, and strong drinks for the winter months to come.

Good Times Ahead

Not only is winter just around the corner but a new job awaits which is just a piece of the puzzle in the big sceeme of things. Speaking of new things; one more peice to add to my small but growing collection. I apologize for the pictures, the lighting in my bedroom is crap and not getting much light from windows because outside its gray and raining.
