OPENING DAY PT.2

THE PIG WAS FAT, THERE WAS A SLAUGHTER! What an amazing opening day to the season, sun peaked through and it was blue all day. The snow was light as a feather which is very unusual for Baker but since it was so freaking cold all day it was dry as ice. I just swooped the afternoon report and it shows 13 degrees...Performance was right where I left off last year which was surprising not being on a board for so long. Legs were a little fatigued. (Modest truth) My legs are shredded, I feel I'm gonna be sore tomorrow but just about to hop in the Jacuzzi tub with some Epsom salts and snow cap beverage to finish the night.

Backing up, after riding and seeing old riding buddies & few pints later we hit the road. Northfork was full so we took second best at Joowana aka Craig Kelly's wife's restaurant and has some very good potato burritos, during our visit the power went out and ended up eating in the dark and paying the old fashion way.

Looking forward to the season, hopefully they get some snow by next friday cause the plan is to hit it up with the wonderful Roz.
